Congressional Democrats have apparently looked at the wildly unpopular NFL protests going on right now and are trying to one-up them.
Yesterday, Massachusetts Rep. Seth Moulton (D.) said he refused to participate in the House of Representatives moment of silence for those who died in Las Vegas Sunday night. Police say that at least 59 people were killed and over 500 more were injured when a man opened fire on the crowd at a country music festival from his hotel room. The motives of the shooter, who has since been identified as 64-year-old man Stephen Paddock, are unknown.
As after #Orlando, I will NOT be joining my colleagues in a moment of silence on the House Floor that just becomes an excuse for inaction.

Now is not a moment for silence; it's a time for action.
