Watch Eric Holder Tell a Crowd to ‘Kick’ Republicans.

Former Attorney General Eric Holder says it’s time for Democrats to forget Michelle Obama’s old mantra, “When they go low, you go high.” The “new” Democratic Party, he said during an event for gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams in Stockbridge, Georgia over the weekend, is one that believes, “When they go low, you kick them.”

The crowd loved it. They cheered and started chanting, “fight! fight! fight!”

“We’re proud as hell to be Democrats,” Holder added. “We’re willing to fight for the ideals of the Democratic party. We’re proud of our history. We’re proud of our present and we’re proud of the future that we can create for this country.”

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel was quick to note a disturbing trend.

Earlier this week, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told CNN that Republicans can expect civility again if and only if Democrats reclaimed power in Congress this fall.

At least not all Democrats agreed with her.

Earlier this year, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and several other Republican leaders were bullied out of restaurants, while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell was verbally abused while leaving an event in Georgetown.

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), who was almost killed when he was shot during a congressional baseball practice last year, asked Clinton the following question.
