Yankees’ Carlos Rodon, wife Ashley welcome third child: ‘Big, little secret’

Yankees pitcher Carlos Rodón and his wife Ashley are building a brood.

Over the weekend, Ashley Rodón announced on Instagram that they have a new baby boy, Silo, their third child.

“So we’ve had a big, little secret. Today we took home our sweet baby Silo,” the proud mother wrote in the Instagram caption.

“With so much going on this past year we decided to enjoy this pregnancy with our family. What a special little boy we have been blessed with. God knows what we need. He definitely was one for dramatics, but all is well now and he’s home with us. The best Easter! One we won’t forget.”

She added that Silo came in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces.

Silo joins 2-year-old boy Bo and 3-year-old daughter Willow in the bustling Rodón household.

Carlos Rodón signed with the Yankees for six years and a total of $162 million this past offseason after one year with the Giants and seven with the White Sox.

The lefty has not pitched for the Yankees yet this season as he battles a forearm strain; he was 14-8 with a 2.88 ERA last year in San Francisco.

He was excited to explore everything the Big Apple had to offer.

“Playing six years in Chicago, a lot smaller scale than New York. … I feel like you can fit seven Chicagos inside of the New York City. But that time I had in Chicago, and then playing in another big city in San Francisco. … We enjoyed the city,” the pitcher said at his introductory press conference.

“We’re the type to live outside, but we like going and eating. We’re foodies, we like food and I think just the cultural aspect of the city. It’s important. The kids can learn a lot but I enjoy the city. Big city never scared me.”

Ashley celebrated her husband’s signing with a post on Instagram.

“The last 8 years have had more ups and downs than I could have ever imagined we would have to face,” Ashley wrote. “Words can’t describe how proud I am to be your wife. You’re the best husband and father. Can’t wait for this next step for our family. The Yankees got a great one. 972 games to put that jersey on your back, what a blessing. God has been good through it all.”
