Trump is a such dirty word in high-society circles these days a relative of the indicted former president left her surname completely off a recent charity gala invitation.
Charity Godâs Love We Deliver sent out a letter to supporters for its upcoming Golden Heart Awards dinner â where tables go for up to $150,000. You can even have your name on the event that will honor Scarlett Johansson and Ben Platt for $500,000.
Chairpersons include Vogue boss Anna Wintour, fashion maven Michael Kors and the designerâs CEO John Idol.
But at the bottom of the letter asking, âto help us make this the most successful Golden Hearts Awards ever,â is another name, just âBlaine.â Thatâs it.
While Wintour, Kors and Idol all have their names printed with the signatures below, Blaine â with no surname â stands out.
Presumably itâs Blaine Trump, vice-chair of the orgâs board.
On the charityâs web site, Blaine appears as âBlaine Beard,â under her maiden name.
She is the Donaldâs former sister-in-law, having been married to his late younger brother, Robert, from 1984 to 2009.
Said a source who received the October awards invite with the somewhat confusing single moniker, âThe signature is just âBlaineâ â and itâs not exactly like sheâs Cher or Madonna.â
We guess, if you know, you know!
Itâs not the first time Blaine has avoided using the controversial Trump name.
Park Magazine reported in a 2022 profile that the mere mention of her last name, âonce led a waiter in California to say he wouldnât have served her if he knew she was a Trump.â The mag added, âNow, she often just uses her first name, âBecause itâs easier,â explained Blaine.â

The piece also said, âToday, her biggest trouble is trying her best to remain coy about her last name when meeting new people.â
âThatâs another hour of conversation about how they feel about Donald and the family. And itâs like, everybodyâs got their opinion and Iâm kind of worn out with everybodyâs opinion,â she said at the time.
Trump and the charity did not get back to us.Â
Blaine previously launched an innovative âvirtual dinner partyâ campaign to raise funds for the organization during the COVID-19 pandemic.
