Cynthia Bailey shares advice for Kyle Richards amid Mauricio separation: I ‘root for people to work it out’

Cynthia Bailey has given her two cents on Kyle Richards’ separation from her husband Mauricio Umansky.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum offered up some sound marriage advice to her “Ultimate Girls Trip” co-star who announced that she and The Agency founder are taking some time apart.

“I adore Kyle. I adore Mauricio. I think that they have, from what I can tell, an amazing relationship, a beautiful family,” Bailey told E! News.

“I always root for people to work it out. But I feel like at the end of the day, whatever’s going to make them both happy is what I support.”

“I just think, at the end of the day, if it doesn’t bring you peace and happiness, then you guys should really have that real conversation and go from there,” the reality star, 56, added.

The couple, who tied the knot in January 1996, had decided to separate after 27 years of marriage.

Page Six confirmed on July 3 that the fan-favorite couple, who tied the knot in January 1996, decided to separate after 27 years of marriage.

The couple admitted to a “challenging” year in a joint Instagram statement, writing, “We both love and respect each other tremendously. … There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”

The news came as a shock to fans and celebs alike, including Bailey.

“I’m the kind of person, when people are going through things, I kind of try to respect their space,” she told the outlet. “And when I see [Kyle] it’s like, ‘Hey, I’m here for you, whenever you need me.’”

The pair clarified that any reports of them “divorcing are untrue.”

Shortly after news of their separation came to light, Richards and Umansky released a joint statement clarifying that any reports of them “divorcing are untrue.”

“However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage,” the couple added.
