I’m a 34-year-old grandma — and I still get asked for my ID

Rachel McIntyre might be a grandmother, but she’s still getting carded at the supermarket.

“It’s annoying, but it’s a bit of a compliment too,” the 34-year-old nana admitted.

“People don’t even believe I’m my daughter’s mum,” McIntyre recently told Caters News. “They look at me in complete shock when I tell them. They’re like, ‘Wait, are you not sisters?’ When I say I’m a granny too, it’s even more of a shock.”

The barely grown granny, who is also a proud swinger and OnlyFans model, became pregnant with her first child when she was just 15 years old.

When her daughter came to her last year and announced that she was pregnant at the age of 17, McIntryre admitted that she had some concerns.

“I was very shocked,” she said of her daughter’s pregnancy. “But once it sunk in, I started getting excited. I knew that I was obviously going to support her as well.”

Her granddaughter was born on July 25.

“It was quite traumatizing to see your daughter go through something like that at 17,” she added. “The labor was a bit horrific, but thankfully my granddaughter is such a good baby.”

In spite of her young age, McIntyre recently underwent a tummy tuck in Turkey. Now back in the UK, she’s exercising and preparing her body for the hard work of both her modeling career and her role as grandma.

McIntyre, who has another 10-year-old daughter, said, “The biggest upside to being such a young granny is that I’ve got a lot more energy.”

“When my granddaughter is a bit older, I can take her out to places and I won’t be tired like older grannies.”

The 34-year-old admitted that she hasn’t been judged for being a young grandma yet, but assumes that it might happen at some point.

It won’t bother her when and if it does.

“People will criticize anything these days,” she said. “Life is all about being happy, and as long as you’re happy, then you’ll go far.”

And, despite the unique situation, she wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

“I would never want to be called just Rachel,” the proud grandparent declared. “I want to be called granny.”
