A 70-year-old Florida woman allegedly backed over and killed her own husband before driving around the neighborhood shouting for their lost dog to come back, according to police in Palm Bay.

Neighbors called 911 to report seeing the husband, Gregory Gore, lying at the foot of his driveway bleeding from the head, according to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital.

Responding officers reported the “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating” from Sally Gore’s breath.

According to a probable cause affidavit, she told police in slurred speech that she and her husband had returned from dinner at a Beef O’Brady’s restaurant when they saw their front gate open. She allegedly told police she had two glasses of wine.

They believed their dog, which has a history of escaping the yard, had gotten out once again, according to the affidavit.

The couple decided to split up – with Gregory searching on foot and Sally in their Honda Ridgeline.

Sally circled the block once and stopped when she saw a neighbor in the street, standing near her husband’s body, according to the affidavit. Police on scene reported that “she was not aware of any impact,” however, officers found damage to her car consistent with her husband’s injuries.

According to investigators, she allegedly backed over her husband on the way out of the driveway. Then police recovered video of her driving past the community center “shouting for her dog.”

She allegedly returned to the scene before she noticed anything wrong.

According to the affidavit, she failed a field sobriety test and blew a .12% on a breathalyzer.

She is due back in court on Nov. 21.
