Jets-Bills live updates: Zach Wilson, Josh Allen face off in divisional clash

The Jets need Zach Wilson and their offense to, at some point, find a rhythm — and the end zone — to keep their playoff hopes alive, and their next chance to snap a lengthy touchdown drought comes Sunday when they face the Bills at Highmark Stadium.

Gang Green has lost consecutive games following its stretch of wins around the bye week, and the Jets’ offense hasn’t scored a touchdown since the first quarter of their Week 8 victory against the Giants. That could mean Zach Wilson’s run as starting quarterback could be in jeopardy with another poor performance, though head coach Robert Saleh has remained loyal to the No. 2 pick in 2021 despite season-long struggles.

But the Bills’ season has also spiraled to the point where they’re 5-5 and in danger of missing the postseason.

They fired offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey and promoted quarterbacks coach Joe Brady to the interim role for the remainder of the season, with the Bills hoping that’ll spark what has still been a productive offense behind Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs.

The Jets defeated the Bills in Week 1 when Xavier Gipson returned a punt for a touchdown in overtime, sealing a bittersweet night for Gang Green that also featured Aaron Rodgers tearing his Achilles just four offensive snaps into the season.
