13 HOURS – IN BENGHAZI

The book 13 Hours presented, for the first time ever, the true account of the events of September 11, 2012, when Islamic jihadists attacked the U.S. State Department Special Mission Compound and a nearby CIA station called the Annex in Benghazi, Libya. A team of six brave and patriotic American security operators fought to repel the terrorists and protect the Americans stationed there.

Those men went beyond the call of duty, performing extraordinary acts of courage and heroism, to avert tragedy on a much larger scale. This is their personal account, never before told, of what happened during the thirteen hours of that now-infamous attack. These men were told, as many other military assets in the area, to stand down or do nothing by the Obama administration. They refused the shameful order to let Americans die and fought with great courage.

The book 13 Hours sets the record straight on what happened during a night that has been shrouded in mystery and controversy. Written by New York Times bestselling author Mitchell Zuckoff, this riveting book takes readers into the action-packed story of heroes who laid their lives on the line for one another, for their countrymen, and for their country. This book must be read by all who want to learn the truth about Benghazi and how President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and others in the Obama administration committed criminal negligence, dereliction of duty and treason. The story of what happened to these men and what they accomplished is unforgettable. Now the true story has been made into a motion picture.

Roger Aronoff wrote an article entitled “Benghazi Movie Premiere Was a Memorable and Moving Event” which was published in the website Accuracy in Media on January 15, 2016. Aronoff, who set up a Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi (CCB) in September 2013 to investigate the September 11, 2012 assaults on the U.S. Department of State Special Mission Compound, also known as the Consulate, and the CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya, had the opportunity to attend the world premiere screening of the new Michael Bay movie, “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.” Aronoff was invited there along with other members of the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, which as editor of Accuracy in Media, he established back in the summer of 2013.

Roger Aronoff explained that the movie, “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi” is the true story of a group of men—heroes—who risked their lives to attempt to save Ambassador Chris Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and their colleagues at the Special Mission Compound. These brave of the CIA Annex security men continued fighting al-Qaeda-affiliated jihadists, saving the lives of dozens of people working at the nearby CIA Annex. The film touches on the personal lives of the men; just enough to help understand their motivations.

Aronoff said that the movie premiere took place at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys football team, and was shown on a screen that was two-and-a-half times larger than the largest IMAX screen. There were between 30,000 to 40,000 people in the audience. Tickets were complimentary, and the event was set up as a benefit for military veterans.

Aronoff met the three named co-authors of the book on which the film was based, 13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi—John “Tig” Tiegen, Mark “Oz” Geist, and Kris “Tanto” Paronto—early on, and was well aware of their story. He wrote that “The book and the audio CDs were dramatic and exciting, but nothing prepared us for this movie, which opens this weekend nationwide, and is receiving mixed reviews.”

The event included interviews with John “Tig” Tiegen, Mark “Oz” Geist, and Kris “Tanto” Paronto, who were part of the Global Response Staff (GRS) at the CIA Annex. It also included interviews with the director, Michael Bay, who also directed the “Transformer” movies, along with “Pearl Harbor” and “Armageddon;” and with some of the actors, including John Krasinski of “The Office” fame. Entertainment Tonight, the syndicated nightly show about the entertainment business, which, like the movie itself, is produced by Paramount, hosted the red carpet event on a stage on the floor of the stadium.

Aronoff pointed out that the job of the GRS was to protect CIA personnel who were stationed at the CIA Annex, which was approximately one mile away from the Special Mission Compound, often referred to as the consulate—although it wasn’t actually a consulate. Two of the three, Oz and Tig, were former Marines, and Tanto was a former Army Ranger. Fox News did a one-hour special on it.

Aronoff said that Fox News was punished for doing the program by the Obama administration, according to Greta Van Susteren. She said that Fox News was excluded from State Department and Central Intelligence Agency media background meetings. Greta Van Susteren stated the following: “Well, I think Fox News is being punished for aggressively asking questions, doing our jobs. That wasn’t all. A few weeks later, when reporter Jennifer Griffin said she was told that there was a stand down order at Benghazi, I got a weird call from the Obama administration trying to pressure me to get Jennifer to back down on her report. I thought the call from the Obama administration was dirty.”

Roger Aronoff has written extensively about the series of scandals that comprise Benghazi and the Obama administration Middle East gunrunning operation. Aronoff stated the following: “While the movie presents enough background information to touch on all of them—the focus of the film was on the failure to provide adequate security to the ambassador and others at the Special Mission Compound, and the dereliction of duty, in failing to bring military assets to at least attempt to help the security team hold off and kill the terrorists.”

Aronoff wrote that in December 2015, Judicial Watch received an email pursuant to a 2014 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit against the State Department. The email was from military chief of staff Jeremy Bash, who wrote to the State Department approximately three-and-a-half hours into the eight-hour attack—well before the terrorists killed CIA contractors and former Navy SEALs Glenn Doherty and Ty Woods—that “we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak. They include a SOF [special operations forces] element that was in Croatia…”

Aronoff explained the following: “Sharyl Attkisson, on her weekend Sinclair Broadcasting show “Full Measure,” did an outstanding investigative piece showing that military assets were in place and ready to come to the aid of the CIA Annex, but the request to cross the border into Libya was never made, and the forces that were spinning and ready to go were obviously told to stand down, whether by omission or commission…This is the sort of investigative reporting that Attkisson was prevented from doing at CBS News, where she worked for more than 20 years. It just so happens that the president of CBS News, David Rhodes, is the brother of President Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser Ben Rhodes, and this report on Benghazi serves as a devastating indictment of the Obama administration. David Rhodes was named to that position in 2011.”

It was Ben Rhodes who conducted the cover-up from the White House. The reasons given by the Obama administration for not sending in Special Forces or military aircraft was that they did not have enough time and that the intelligence was not good enough. As then Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta said during Senate testimony before the Senate Armed Services Committee, “…time, distance, the lack of an adequate warning, events that moved very quickly on the ground prevented a more immediate response.” This, of course, was a lie to justify Obama’s criminal negligence, dereliction of duty and treason.

Aronoff pointed out that “the Obama administration had advance warning, both tactical and strategic, of a potential attack in Benghazi.” And he added that “considering that it was the anniversary of the 9/11/2001 attacks, there was no excuse for not being on high alert anyway.” Attkisson’s reporting makes the dereliction of duty very clear.

Aronoff concluded his article by saying the following: “As much as the movie stays away from politics, and never once mentions Hillary Clinton or President Obama by name, it’s hard to imagine people watching this movie and not being outraged by the failures of this administration to protect these people who put their lives at risk for this country. Many on the left are apoplectic about this film, fearing that it could tarnish even further the legacy of President Obama, and prove to be a serious problem for Mrs. Clinton’s bid for the White House. I personally thought the film was brilliant, powerful and emotional. It felt like you were watching this horrible nightmare unfold before your eyes. I strongly urge everyone to go see this film. You won’t wonder any more what all the fuss is about Benghazi. And I certainly hope that the members of the House Select Committee on Benghazi all see the film before issuing their final report.”

Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi interim report entitled “How America Switched Sides in the War on Terror.”

This writer has written several articles of the greatest scandal of the Obama administration and most likely one of the worst in our history. This was a scandal that also involved Hillary Clinton. She now has the audacity be running for president in 2016. The sad reality is that both the president and his former secretary of State committed treason, criminal negligence and dereliction of duty. .

A Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi (CCB) was set up by Roger Aronoff in September 2013 to investigate the September 11, 2012 assaults on the U.S. Department of State Special Mission Compound, also known as the Consulate, and the CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya. The CCB was made up of 17 retired admirals and generals, former CIA intelligence agents, active anti-terrorist experts, defense consultants, journalists, and former congressmen. After many months of investigation and research which involved interviews with several knowledgeable sources, the Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi issued on April 22, 2014 an interim report entitled “How America Switched Sides in the War on Terror.”

This is a summary of the alarming findings:

1) The war in Libya was unnecessary, served no articulable U.S. national security objective, and led to preventable chaos region-wide. In the period since 2011 revolution in Libya, the country has remained fragmented, poorly governed, and overrun with violent militias, the majority of which are jihadist al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) affiliates. Yet, at the time of his overthrow, Muammar Qaddafi was an ally of the United States in the Global War on Terror.

On March 17, 2011 the United Nations Security Council passed resolution 1973 for a “No Fly Zone” and record ostensibly to protect Libyan civilians caught up in the hostilities between the Libyan government forces and the rebel forces, which were dominated by the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda. The following day in London, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced U.S. government support for the Muslim Brotherhood-led Libyan Transitional National Council (TNC) in its revolt against Qaddafi.”

The commission found out that the civil war in Libya could have been avoided and would have saved thousands of lives and the enormous turmoil that followed the fall of the dictator Muammar Qaddafi. After a few days of the Obama administration declaration that the United States would support the Libyan rebels, Qaddafi wanted to enter negotiations to discuss his possible abdication and exile…General Carter Ham, the head of the African Command in Stuggart, Germany, was quite interested. However, the Obama administration did not give permission to General Ham to proceed with the negotiations.

The opportunity for a peaceful resolution of the conflict in Libya did not interest President Obama. The war continued and tens of thousands of lives were lost. It was absolutely appalling that the White House and the State Department did not even consider entering into negotiations with Qaddafi to avoid bloodshed since President Obama and Secretary Clinton wanted to pursue the unconstitutional and unnecessary war in Libya supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and the al-Qaeda-linked rebels. Both Obama and Clinton have never explained to the American people and to Congress why both of them wanted to empower jihadists and the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya which went against the national security interest of our nation.

2) Changing sides in the War on Terror: Even more disturbingly, the United States was fully aware of and facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaeda-dominated rebel militias throughout the 2011 rebellion. The jihadist agenda of AQIM, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, and other Islamic terror groups represented among the rebel forces was well known to U.S. officials responsible for Libya policy.

The rebels made no secret of their al-Qaeda affiliation, openly flying and speaking in front of the black flag of Islamic Jihad, according to author John Rosenthal and multiple media reports. And yet, the White House and senior Congressional members deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress al-Qaeda. The result in Libya, across much of North Africa, and beyond has been utter chaos, disruption of Libya’s oil industry, the spread of dangerous weapons (including surface-to-air missiles), and the empowerment of jihadist organizations like al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

3) The weapons flow: An American citizen source trusted by the Citizens Commission on Benghazi who has long experience in the Middle East described the flow of weapons from Qatar to the Libyan rebels and the diversion of some of those arms. After Qaddafi’s regime had been ousted, a delegation from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) traveled to Libya to collect payment for the weapons that the UAE had financed and Qatar had delivered to the Transitional National Council (TNC) during the war…The Libyan Muslim Brotherhood leadership of the TNC and the al-Qaeda-affiliated militia (Ansar al-Shariah) that has been named responsible for the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi. Ahmed Abu Khattala is under a Department of Justice sealed indictment. His brigade merged into Ansar al-Shariah in 2012, and he was positively identified to the FBI in a cell-phone photo from the scene of the attack.”

On June 15, 2014, Ahmed Abu Khattala was captured south of Benghazi by a U.S. Special Forces team and is in jail awaiting a trial.

The capture of Abu Khattala marks the first time the United States has caught one of the suspects in the 2012 assault on Benghazi. Khattala’s capture came 642 days after he led the attack that killed the four Americans.

The Obama administration has faced an enormous amount of criticism from members in Congress and the family of the four murdered Americans over the fact that no one had been brought to justice since that day in 2012. Republican Senators Marco Rubio of Florida and Ted Cruz of Texas both of them presidential candidates said the terrorist should have been sent to Guantanamo.

During the briefings held by the Department of State and the Department of Defense officials were questioned repeatedly on why reporters were able to get in touch with this jihadist terrorist after the attack but United States forces apparently could not capture him. The terrorist faces three counts in the federal complaint against him, which was filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. It will be very interesting to see if 43-year-old savage criminal Ahmed Abu Khattala will speak on his long-term relationship with ambassador Chris Stevens in Libya before and after the defeat of Qaddafi and explain why he killed him.

Chris Stevens became Obama’s first ambassador to Al-Qaida.

The future ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, was sent to Benghazi as a Special Envoy from the Department of State to coordinate the assistance provided by the Obama administration to the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaida-linked terrorist organizations. Once he became the U.S. Ambassador, Stevens continued working with the jihadist terrorists. Somehow a dispute must have arisen and he was assassinated by Ansar al-Shariah, the terrorist group that he had been assisting during the civil war and later working with Ansar al-Shariah jihadists to send weapons to Syria. Some have speculated that the terrorists wanted to kidnap ambassador Stevens to trade him for the blind Sheik and others who are imprisoned in the United States.

Many of these weapons fell into the hands of al-Qaida-linked terrorist groups trying to overthrow the Syrian dictator such as the al Nusra Front. Additionally, the Islamic State, also called Daesh, ISIS or ISIL, captured many of these weapons. Perhaps Obama let Chris Stevens die to avoid a future Congressional investigation or that the gun-running operation could have come to light just before the 2012 presidential election.

Former Secretary Clinton and President Obama foreign-policy in the Middle East has been an absolute failure and the turmoil in that region is worse than ever. Probably, it is the beginning of the end of Iraq and perhaps the nation will be split into three countries, a Sunni, a Shiite, and a Kurd. The Syrian war is now a Middle Eastern war. The bloody conflict has spilled into Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, and Kurdistan, which now has emerged as a new nation. It could easily spread to Turkey, Jordan, and Israel before it’s over.

President Obama, who secretly provided weapons to the Islamic State and the al Nusra Front in Syria, is responsible for the deaths of several Americans killed by the Islamic State and the tens of thousands assassinated, tortured, and raped Christians in the Middle East.

The Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi investigated the White House cover-up on Benghazi

The Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi also investigated the White House cover-up on Benghazi. It stated the following: “The White House campaign appears to have been well-coordinated with U.S. Muslim Brotherhood organizations as well as Islamic nations that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), who all joined in condemnation of the video, and, even more troubling, issued calls for restriction on Americans’ free-speech rights. The Obama administration officials knew that the YouTube video had nothing to do with the terrorist attack in Benghazi, yet for two weeks President Obama and members of his administration deliberately falsely claim that a protest had preceded the attack on our Benghazi mission.”

Former’s State Department Secretary Hillary Clinton has continued to lie to the nation regarding her role in Benghazi. Hillary Clinton used the terrible excuse of the “the fog of war” for not knowing what was happening in Benghazi. There was no “fog of war.” All of her statements were lies since the president, the Pentagon, the CIA, the State Department, the U.S. embassy in Tripoli, and the president of Libya knew from the very beginning that the attack at Benghazi was a carefully planned terrorist attack by jihadists connected to al Qaeda.

Hillary Clinton needs to be indicted and brought to trial for assisting the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya and al-Qaeda-linked organizations in the war in Libya, her criminal negligence in not sending additional soldiers to protect our ambassador and other personnel, and for her continued lies to Congress and the American people and her participation in the cover-up. She is as guilty as the president for her actions in Libya. Hillary Clinton is certainly unfit to run for president in 2016.

The Middle East gun-running operation from Libya to Turkey to Syria and the terrorist attack at Benghazi

Doug Hagmann of the Canadian Free Press, James Robbins of the Washington Times, Aaron Klein of WND, Roger Aronoff’s Citizens’ Committee on Benghazi, and Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch have fully explained that the Obama administration was engaged in a massive gun-running operation to al Qaeda, which included transporting heavy weapons from Libya to Syria. Ambassador Stevens was in charge of this operation, which also involved recruiting jihadists to fight against the dictator Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

At 9:40 p.m. on September 11, 2012, a group of approximately 150 heavily armed jihadist militia members attacked the Special Mission Compound (SMC) and the nearby CIA Annex in Benghazi, Libya. The terrorists used small arms, machine guns, rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and mortars against Americans at the two separate facilities, the Special Mission Compound (also referred as the Benghazi consulate) and the CIA Annex. Immediately Ambassador Stevens contacted Greg Hicks in Tripoli and told him, “Greg, we are under attack!” and requested assistance. Hicks immediately notified all agencies so that they could initiate an emergency response plan.

There were soldiers at the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli, as well as soldiers in all the Western embassies and consulates of countries, such as Great Britain, Italy, France, Germany, Spain, that upon request by President Obama would have sent their military personnel immediately to Benghazi to provide assistance to our diplomat and other personnel. Yet nothing was done!

The Benghazi scandal involved criminal negligence and dereliction of duty as the Obama administration allowed Ambassador Chris Stevens, two former Navy Seals, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, and Sean Smith, a U.S. Foreign Service computer specialist to die for political reasons when the United States had forces nearby that could have saved them.

For eight hours, a small group of brave Americans fought approximately 150 terrorists while notifying our government and repeatedly requesting help. There were 130 Marines at our Base at Sigonela, Sicily. The United States had two squadrons of F-16s at its Aviano Air Base in Italy. The F-16 aircraft is armed with 500 20 MM rounds and other weapons and they are able to fly at 0.92 match speed. A Marine detachment was at U.S. Navy Base in Rota, Spain. U.S. forces were also stationed in Greece. The ensuing cover up was disgraceful and is completely unacceptable. It violated our armed forces Code of Conduct which states that we do not leave someone behind.

The president signed an executive order on September 16, 2013 waiving a ban on arming terrorists to allow aid to the Syrian rebels, many of which are supporters of al- Qaeda. In essence, he exempted himself from any laws, such as the Patriot Act, that prohibits anyone from giving weapons to a terrorist organization. This executive order should be grounds for impeachment.

In reality, Obama has been secretly shipping weapons from Libya to Turkey for a couple of years. The weapons were being given to the rebels fighting the Syrian regime, which included al-Qaeda-linked rebels groups. One of the largest al-Qaeda affiliate is the al Nusra Front. Abu Mohammed al Golani is the leader of this al Qaeda-affiliated terrorist group and he has an army of 10,000 soldiers under his command in Syria.

Tom Fitton’s Judicial Watch Special Investigative Report raised the question why Ambassador Chris Stevens went to Benghazi so close to the anniversary of 9/11 in a place that had experienced 20 terrorist attacks including one at the U.S. diplomatic compound. It is now known that the Ambassador met with the Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin on the evening of the attack.

The purpose of that meeting has not been disclosed. Some experts believe that the Ambassador’s work in Benghazi may have been related to the Obama administration’s efforts to transfer arms to Syrian opposition groups. Frank Gaffney, former deputy assistant secretary of state, stated the following: “One of the places in Libya most awash with weapons in the most dangerous of hands is Benghazi. It now appears that Stevens was there-on a particularly risky day, with no security to speak of and despite now copiously documented concerns about his own safety and that of his subordinates-for another priority mission: sending arms recovered from the former regime’s stocks to the opposition in Syria.”

Judicial Watch wrote that the newspaper Times of London published an article on September 14, 2012, entitled “Syrian Rebels Squabble over Weapons as Biggest Shipload Arrives from Libya.” The Times of London pointed out that the Libyan ship, The Intisaar or The Victory, arrived at the Turkish port of Iskenderun after leaving from Benghazi. It explained that “more than 400 tons of cargo arrived in Syria carrying SAM-7 surface-to-air anti-aircraft missiles and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs), which Syrian sources said could be a game changer for the rebels.”

General Carter Ham, Commander of the United States African Command and Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette, who was in charge of Carrier Strike Group Three, which included the aircraft carrier U.S.S. John C. Stennis, were both allegedly fired for trying to send a rapid response team to Benghazi to save our people in violation of the order that they were given to stand down, meaning do nothing should be interviewed.

In June 2012 both the British Consulate and the International Red Cross had to close their offices due to the assassination attempt on the British Consul General and other assassinations. The bombing outside our Special Mission Compound in Benghazi took place on June 6.

Ambassador Chris Stevens had requested additional security assistance on multiple locations. Secretary Clinton sent home Lieutenant Colonel Andrew Wood and the 16-man security force which was at our embassy in Tripoli. The repeated pleas from Ambassador Stevens for additional security were ignored and denied by the State Department.

Obama Backed al-Qaida in Libya

Jerome R. Corsi wrote an article entitled “Generals Conclude Obama Backed al-Qaida” which was published on WND on January 20, 2015. He explained that the White House and the State Department under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “changed sides in the war on terror” in 2011 by implementing a policy of facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-dominated rebel militias in Libya attempting to oust Moammar Gadhafi, the Citizens Commission on Benghazi (CCB) concluded in its interim report.

Corsi pointed the following: “Several members of the commission have revealed their finding that the mission of Christopher Stevens, prior to the fall of Gadhafi and during Stevens’ time as U.S. ambassador, was the management of a secret gun-running program operated out of the Benghazi compound. The Obama administration’s gun-running project in Libya, much like the “fast and furious” program under Eric Holder’s Justice Department, operated without seeking or obtaining authorization by Congress.”

Congressman Trey Gowdy, Republican from South Carolina, and chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi may be forced to cover-up what Obama and Hillary Clinton did in Libya. If this occurs, it will be the worst cover-up in history.

In interviews conducted with 11 of the 17 members of the commission, it was disclosed that a great concern is that Congressman Trey Gowdy, Republican from South Carolina, and chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, is stopped from presenting its report by other Republicans in Congress.

Corsi said that the CCB report stated that the jihadist agenda of al-Qaida in the Maghreb (AQIM), the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group and other Islamic terrorist groups fighting among the rebel forces was well known to U.S. officials responsible for Libya policy. “The rebels made no secret of their al-Qaeda affiliation, openly flying and speaking in front of the black flag of Islamic jihad, according to author John Rosenthal and multiple media reports,” the interim report said. “And yet, the White House and senior Congressional members deliberately and knowingly pursued a policy that provided material support to terrorist organizations in order to topple a ruler who had been working closely with the West actively to suppress al-Qaeda.”

The report concluded: “The result in Libya, across much of North Africa, and beyond has been utter chaos, disruption of Libya’s oil industry, the spread of dangerous weapons (including surface-to-air missiles), and the empowerment of jihadist organizations like al-Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood.”

Christopher Stevens: ’First U.S. envoy to al-Qaida’

In the WND interviews, several members of the Citizens’ Commission, speaking for themselves, not for the commission, added important background to the interim report’s conclusion. Corsi wrote that Clare Lopez, a member of the commission who served as a career operations officer with the CIA and current is vice president for research at the Washington-based Center for Security Policy stated the following: “In early 2011, before Gadhafi was deposed, Christopher Stevens came to Benghazi in a cargo ship, and his title at the time was envoy to the Libyan rebels,’ which basically means Christopher Stevens was America’s very first envoy to al-Qaida. At that time, Stevens was facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-related militia in Libya, The weapons were produced at factories in Eastern Europe and shipped to a logistics hub in Qatar. The weapons were financed by the UAE and delivered via Qatar mostly on ships, with some possibly on airplanes, for delivery to Benghazi. The weapons were small arms, including Kalashnikovs, rocket-propelled grenades and lots of ammunition.”

Clare Lopez indicated that during the period of time when Chris Stevens was facilitating the delivery of weapons to the al-Qaida-affiliated rebels in Libya, he was living in the facility that was later designated the Special Mission Compound in Benghazi. Clare Lopez further stated to Corsi the following: “This was about weapons going into Libya, and Stevens is coordinating with Abdelhakim Belhadj, the leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, other al-Qaida-affiliated militia leaders and leaders of the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood that directed the rebellion against Gadhafi as an offshoot of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood. Many of the individual members of the al-Qaida-related militias, including the LIFG, and the groups that would later become Ansar Al-Sharia, were Muslim Brotherhood members first.”

Barack Obama sends weapons to al-Qaida in Syria

Clare Lopez told Corsi the following: “After Gadhafi is deposed and Stevens was appointed U.S. ambassador to Libya, the flow of weapons reverses. Now Stevens has the job of overseeing the shipment of arms from Libya to Syria to arm the rebels fighting Assad, some of whom ultimately becomes al-Nusra in Syria and some become ISIS. The al-Nusra in Syria still claims allegiance to al-Qaida, while ISIS has broken away from al-Qaida, not because ISIS is too violent, but out of insubordination, after Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS, wanted to run his own show inside Syria as well as Iraq, thereby disobeying orders from al-Qaida leader Ayman Al-Zawahiri.”

Clare Lopez said that in this period of time, after the fall of Gadhafi and before the September 11, 2012, attack on the Benghazi compound, Ambassador Stevens was working with Turkey to ship weapons out of Libya into Syria for the use of the rebels fighting Assad. Corsi wrote that according to the authors of the bestselling book, 13 Hours, on September 11, 2012, before the attack on the Benghazi compound began; Ambassador Stevens had dinner with Turkish Consul General Ali Sait Akin. Ambassador Stevens escorted the Turkish diplomat outside the main gate of the Benghazi compound to say good-bye to Akin at approximately 7:40 p.m. local time, before he returned to Villa C to retire for the evening.

Corsi explained that “Kevin Shipp, a former CIA counterintelligence expert who worked on the seventh floor at Langley as protective staff to then-CIA Director William Casey, again speaking for himself in his interview with WND, agreed with Lopez that the gun-running operation Stevens managed is a secret the Obama White House and Clinton State Department have sought to suppress from the public.” Kevin Shipp told Corsi the following: “The shocking part, maybe even a violation of international law that the Obama administration has been terrified to have fully revealed, is that Stevens as part of his duties as a State Department employee was assisting in the shipment of arms first into Libya for the al-Qaida-affiliated militia, with the weapons shipped subsequently out of Libya into Syria for use by the al-Qaida-affiliated rebels fighting Assad. Very possibly, these gun-running activities could be looked at even as treasonable offenses.”

Former CIA agent Kevin Shipp further said that in gun-running operations in which the CIA wants deniability, the CIA generally involves a third party. He stated the following: “The way the CIA works is through a ‘cut-out,’ in that you get Qatar to transport the weapons and you facilitate the transport. So now the third party is to blame. Qatar probably would have been able to pull this off without any attribution to the CIA if the Benghazi attack had not happened. The attack basically shed the light on this operation the White House, the State Department and the CIA was trying to keep quiet.”

Conclusion

This writer hopes that millions of people see the movie “13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.” He hopes that Americans will demand justice and that Trey Gowdy presents the truth about Benghazi and Libya in the final report of his Select Committee on Benghazi. How could President Obama and former Secretary Clinton get away with supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda-linked terrorists organizations in Libya and in Syria violating the Patriot Act and other laws of our nation?

There is no question in this writer´s mind that President Obama committed treason, dereliction of duty, and criminal negligence in Libya during the civil war against Qaddafi, for his refusal to save our diplomats and Navy SEALs in Benghazi, and his repeated lies and cover-up with the assistance of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Hillary Clinton is also guilty of treason and criminal negligence since she supported assisting the Muslim Brotherhood and jihadists to overthrow Qaddafi and later her State Department denied repeated requests from Ambassador Chris Stevens for protection and for her lies and participation in the cover-up.

Obama is a hidden radical Muslim and a traitor. Moreover, he is the architect of the destruction of our nation as well as Libya. The influence of the Muslim Brotherhood on the Obama administration is pervasive and very dangerous to our security. The reason for our country being a superpower in retreat is due to the failed domestic and foreign policies of President Barack Obama.

Obama projects weakness abroad and all of our enemies have been emboldened. Russia annexed Crimea and invaded military Eastern Ukraine without fear. China is claiming the entire South China Sea and a large part of East China Sea as its territory including islands that belong to our allies.

Obama’s Iranian nuclear accord was appeasement and in October and November 2015 Iran violated the accord by testing ICBM and Obama did nothing. North Korea continues to expand its nuclear program and intercontinental ballistic missiles. Venezuela and Cuba continue to oppress their people and sign military agreements and future bases with Russia and China.

Obama announced the restoration of relations with Cuba on December 17, 2014. He also enacted illegal executive orders and promulgated new rules on Cuba which practically destroyed the embargo in violation of the Helms Burton Law.

President Obama and Secretary Clinton entered into a war in Libya under false pretenses and violating the Constitution since Congress did not authorize it. Later Obama had been engaged in a Middle Eastern gun-running operation without Congressional authority and in violation of United States laws.

The president violated his oath of office and multiple laws by sending weapons to and working with terrorist groups during the civil war in Libya. He continued to violate laws by later sending weapons from Libya to Turkey knowing that those weapons would eventually fall into the hands of al Qaeda-linked terrorist groups fighting in Libya.

Moreover, Obama worked with the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and Muslim nations to engage in a cover-up. This is astounding and alarming. President Obama is a traitor who should be impeached by the House of Representatives and prosecuted by the Senate. President Barack Obama is unfit to be our commander-in-chief and must be impeached by the House of Representatives and the Senate must hold a trial.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton must be indicted for her actions in Libya. Additionally, Mrs. Clinton must be prosecuted for her mishandling classified information by receiving more than 1,340 classified emails in an illegal private server at her home, and for trading favors when she served at the State Department for millions of dollars from foreign governments, U.S. multinational corporations, and foreign businessmen to the Clinton Foundation and tens of thousands of dollars in speeches by her equally corrupt husband former president Bill Clinton.

Never before in our history 150 FBI have been engaged in a criminal investigation on a presidential candidate. The Justice Department must act on the FBI’s recommendation and not engage in another cover-up of the corrupt and criminal Obama administration!
