In July 2015 top Mexican drug lord, “Joaquin “El Chapo” (Shorty) Guzman, threatened US presidential hopeful Donald Trump.
Guzman took to his son’s Twitter account to threaten the popular America-first candidate.
On the account, administered by Guzman’s son Ivan, the escapee reportedly wrote: ‘If you keep p****** me off I’m going to make you eat your words you f****** blonde milk-s*****’.
Trump reportedly called the FBI after the threatening tweets on the drug lord’s son’s Twitter account.
In May 2016 a protester outside a Trump event in San Diego held a sign saying the drug cartel will murder Donald Trump.

Despite these threats on Wednesday Donald Trump will travel to Mexico City to meet with President Enrique Peña Nieto.
The Washington Post reported:
Donald Trump will travel to Mexico City on Wednesday for a meeting with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto, just hours before he delivers a high-stakes speech in Arizona to clarify his views on immigration policy.
Peña Nieto last Friday invited both Trump and Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton to visit Mexico, his office said in a statement provided to The Washington Post on Tuesday night.
Trump, sensing an opportunity, decided over the weekend to accept the invitation and push for a visit this week, according to the people in the United States and Mexico familiar with the discussions.
Late Tuesday, Trump and the Mexican president confirmed on Twitter that they will meet Wednesday.
