BREAKING: White House Reveals When Classified FISA Memo Is ‘Likely’ To Be Released.

A Trump administration official revealed late on Wednesday that the classified memo that alleges anti-Trump bias at the FBI and the Department of Justice will most likely be released tomorrow.

The memo, compiled by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes (R-CA), supposedly shows abuse of surveillance powers by the DOJ and FBI regarding the use of the FISA court.

Chief of Staff John Kelly said Wednesday on Fox News Radio that he thought the memo would be released relatively quickly, saying, “It will be released here pretty quick, I think, and then the whole world can see it.”

After being attacked by the media and Democrats over the memo, Nunes fired back on Wednesday, shooting down the FBI’s warning that the White House should not release the memo.

“It’s clear that top officials used unverified information in a court document to fuel a counter-intelligence investigation during an American political campaign,” Nunes said in response. “Once the truth gets out, we can begin taking steps to ensure our intelligence agencies and courts are never misused like this again.”

Fox News’ Catherine Herridge reported yesterday that multiple officials who reviewed the memo could not find any inaccuracies in it. Fox News reports:

Two senior FBI officials have now reviewed a controversial Republican staff memo alleging abuses of government surveillance programs during the 2016 presidential campaign, a source familiar with the matter told Fox News – adding that the officials “could not point to any factual inaccuracies.”

The two officials – one from the bureau’s counterintelligence division and the other from the legal division – followed up after an initial review of the memo during a rare Sunday trip to Capitol Hill by FBI Director Christopher Wray.

The memo is thought to show how the Obama administration used the anti-Trump dossier, paid for by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign, which ultimately led to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into alleged ties between the Trump campaign and Russian government officials.
