The Sorry State of the Deep State
Come now, ladies and gents of the sporting world, where are the creds (March Madness Brackets notwithstanding) that Obama is a “lifelong athlete”?
Millions can attest that hitting balls out on the links doesn’t automatically come with that “lifelong athlete” status.
Paramount to the testy call between Trump and Peña Nieto was that Trump (drum roll here, please) lost his temper.
How did we deplorable plebes get this invaluable information?

“But U.S. officials described him instead as being frustrated and exasperated, saying Trump believed it was unreasonable for Peña Nieto to expect him to back off his crowd-pleasing campaign promise of forcing Mexico to pay for the wall.
“Both accounts confirm it was Peña Nieto’s desire to avoid public embarrassment — and Trump’s unwillingness to provide that assurance — that proved to be the dealbreaker.”
Doesn’t a deal have to be in the offing for a “dealbreaker”?
There was never any deal when Nieto ever agreed that Mexico would pay for Trump’s Democrat and mainstream media-hated wall.
Here we have a major Sports Analytics Conference bending over backwards to keep everything Obama said secret, if not sacrosanct, and the Deep State throwing a sitting president to the wolves by leaking to the outside world, what was said in a private telephone conversation.
Other than making himself a legend in his own mind, why did Obama need secrecy about his ruminating about his most memorable moments in the White House, and post-presidency plans?
It was only days ago when Obama told one of the biggest lies of his career in an outrageously devious Tweet to the grief-stricken students of —- High School:
