WATCH: An Entire Nation Stands Still For Two Minutes To Honor Holocaust Victims.

On Thursday, on Yom HaShaoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day, the entire nation of Israel stood still for two minutes to honor the six million Jews killed by the Nazis in World War II. One million Jewish children were slaughtered by the Nazis in their attempt to wipe out the Jewish people; the official State of Israel arose out of the ashes of Europe.

Cars stopped in the middle of highways; people stopped in the middle of shopping, pedestrians stopped in their tracks as the sirens sounded nationwide in the State of Israel.

Israel was re-founded in 1948, three years after World War II ended, and roughly 2,000 years after the Roman expulsion.

The horrifying details of the murderous Nazi persecution of the Jews have been heavily documented, but still there are Holocaust deniers aplenty; just one more reason for the Jewish people to remind the world that such a monstrous action truly did occur.

Imagine if all Americans stood still for two minutes on 9/11.
