The Left may hate her, but Sarah Huckabee Sanders is one of the Top 10 most admired women in America.
And unfortunately for liberals, the story has been confirmed as “true” by the liberal website Snopes, which acts as a fact-checker for lazy people.
Snopes confirmed the story — but not until it had bashed Sanders for not being a liberal.
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has been the subject of intense scrutiny and criticism as one of President Donald Trumpâs chief spokespersons since his inauguration in January 2017.
Her consistent defense of sometimes vacillating and even contradictory statements by Trump, as well as her occasionally combative style have made her the subject of ridicule by late night talk show hosts and in Saturday Night Live sketches. In April 2018, comedian Michelle Wolf targeted Huckabee Sanders in a controversial monologue at the White House Correspondents Association dinner.
Snopes then says that a meme — yes, Snopes apparently “fact checks” memes — that declares that Sanders had just been “named one of the 10 most admired women in America” is, in fact, fact.
This is true. In April 2018, the UK-based polling firm YouGov published the results of its âWorldâs Most Admiredâ survey. Respondents in the United States ranked Huckabee Sanders the ninth most admired woman in the world.
In fact, Sanders tied with first lady Melania Trump; both garnered 3.6% of the vote.
So, not fake news.
