‘My Fault’ Movie on Amazon Prime Video: Where to Buy the Books

Between The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 2 premiering in July and the buzzy, steamy film My Fault (aka Culpa Mía) still climbing Prime Video‘s charts, the streamer is quickly carving out a space in the young adult genre that could rival Netflix.

My Fault hit Prime Video on June 8, and since then has only increased in popularity.

The Spanish-language film follows Noah (Nicole Wallace), a 17-year-old who is forced to leave her life behind to move into the mansion of her mother’s rich new husband. At first, she clashes with her new step-brother Nicholas (Gabriel Guevara), but the two grow closer as Noah begins uncovering his dangerous past.

It probably wouldn’t surprise you to find out that My Fault is based on a book.

Originally published in Spanish as Culpa Mía, the Mercedes Ron book first hit shelves in 2017. It’s been described as After meets The Kissing Booth — both of those books received film adaptations as well — and first appeared on the original story platform Wattpad.

The English translation of Culpa Mía, titled My Fault, is available now in paperback and e-book formats from Amazon.

The book is actually the first in the Culpable trilogy, but the next two books, Your Fault and Our Fault, haven’t had English translations released yet. They’ll be hit bookshelves on December 5, 2023 and February 13, 2024 respectively, but you can pre-order both of them now.

Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime Membership ($15/month). Learn more here.

Of course, the entire trilogy is available in paperback and e-book in its original Spanish to purchase and read now as well.

While it’s unclear whether or not My Fault will receive a sequel, we know now that there are two books of material left to adapt.
