Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner have settled their brutal divorce after four months of battling it out.
TMZ reported Tuesday morning that the model signed off on a three-page settlement agreement after a judge informed her that their prenuptial agreement would be enforced.
As a result, Baumgartner would have had to repay Costner more than $1 million and pay his attorneyâs fees if she decided to fight the agreement.
The details of the settlement are unknown, but the outlet noted that Baumgartnerâs $850,000 legal fees request is off the table. However, she will receive more money than was initially stated in the prenup.
âKevin and Christine Costner have come to an amicable and mutually agreed upon resolution of all issues pertaining to their divorce proceedings,â the exes shared in a joint statement to Page Six.
Baumgartner, 49, filed for divorce from the âField of Dreamsâ star in early May after 18 years of marriage.
They share three children together.
The divorce quickly became acrimonious as the handbag designer demanded substantial sums of money, including $250,000 for child support, which Costner and his attorney fought against vehemently because he felt it would be used for plastic surgery.

The judge ordered Baumgartner in early July to move out of their shared estate. She found new digs in Montecito, Calif., where she rented a $40,000-per-month property.
Baumgartner did receive a legal victory when Costner, 68, was ordered to pay her $129,000 per month in child support â more than twice of what he wanted to pony up. Weeks later, the âBodyguardâ actorâs dues reduced to $63,000 per month.
âThis is a horrible place to be, but this is where weâre at,â Costner told Access Hollywood following his child support win.
âIt feels so bad,â he said outside of the courtroom. âWeâre talking about somebody I love on the other side. I just canât.â
Baumgartner had vowed to âenter the workforceâ after her child support payments were reduced. Itâs unclear if she still plans to do so in light of the settlement.
